I spent the last decade building marketing technology platforms inside regulated enterprises: banks, law firms, jurisdictions where mistakes cost real money. Now I build AI-powered tools for businesses and teams of all sizes through Caydev, a product studio I started in the Cayman Islands.
My career started in banking infrastructure at HSBC, managing core systems, servers, and enterprise applications. I moved into marketing technology at Walkers, an international law firm, and spent the next decade scaling the function from the ground up. What started as campaign support became a global Martech operation across ten jurisdictions, with a team of direct reports, vendors, and consultants. Along the way I delivered a six-figure Sitecore enterprise rebuild and led platform investments totalling multiple millions across the portfolio. I also helped drive the firm's move into AI, from building the business case to selecting tools and running pilots. I hold an Honours B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from York University.
In parallel, I founded Caydev in 2013 to build impactful platforms that would benefit the local community. Running both tracks taught me something useful: I can architect and manage enterprise-level platforms and systems, and still ship a side project in a weekend. Day to day, that means I move between Martech strategy, platform architecture, and hands-on development with the latest toolkits and frameworks, with the vendor and budget management in between.
Going forward, my focus is AI-native products and platforms. I want to take everything I've learned from corporate systems and processes, marketing strategy, and engineering and channel it into building tools that solve real problems. The playbook is the same one I've run for a decade: understand the domain, ship fast, measure what matters. The difference now is the tools are smarter, and so is the ambition.

After 13 years of building on the side and a full-time career in enterprise tech, I'm going all in. Caydev is now an AI-first software studio, and I've never been more ready to engineer something great.

I thought launching a site live would bring traffic on day 1. I was wrong. Here's how I'm using JSON-LD structured data, Person schemas, and AIO optimization to build a personal brand that doesn't just rank on Google, but gets cited by AI.

Once again, @gregisenberg drops a video about something I'm actually working on. I've been busy "hiring" for my company by building the various roles into agents, and kitting them out with the best skills. Interestingly, the marketing agent is one of the most "skilled" agents!
how to use claude code, railway, meta etc to spin up digital employees that run your marketing 24/7 1. create one folder. drop in an environment file with every api key you use (facebook ads, instantly, phantom buster, perplexity, ga4, slack, notion). start thinking in apis (new
I thought image generation with NanoBanana was peak already. I’ve integrated NanoBanana into my Claude code workflows and it generates images for documentation and web projects on the fly. Im now creating premium materials in one prompt. How can it possibly get better from here?

I was part of a Copilot adoption and integration project in my old role in a corporate organization, and one of the most disappointing things was explaining to users Microsoft Copilot was trash at making Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Amazing that Claude made it happen!
Claude in PowerPoint is now available on the Pro plan. It also now supports connectors, bringing context from your daily tools directly into your slides. Try it here: claude.com/claude-in-powe…
7 months. That's how long I've been building a tool instead of launching it.
Good to know I’m not the only one who feels this way!
Reminder: X is a bubble when it comes to AI. If you spend a lot of time on here (I do!) - it may feel like literally everyone is up-to-speed on the latest models and tools. But these were the top apps by market share in Q4 '25, per SensorTower.
